George lived in a small cottage house behind the church, and he looked like an exorcist even though he wasn’t one. If exorcism was a job, his position would be “reverse exorcist” since he was the one who was responsible for most of the paranormal incidents in this small town.
Born and raised as an orphan on paper, he knew he was more than the unofficial offspring of a priest. God said fatherhood is a blessing, but his father went to jail for impregnating his mom. He didn’t have good nicknames or inside jokes among his friends. He had a bunch of kids calling him “offensive word” + his name, George. He grew up being either an outcast or a target, and that was how he started getting obsessed with black magic.
People in the neighborhood started to look out for him after that one incident when he passed out on the sidewalk due to hypotension. Little did they know that he hated more than half of the people in this town.
Margaret, the nice old lady in town, invited him to her birthday party, and he saw that pale-looking guy called Jay had brought a girl from the city, claiming her as his new wife. Her name was Aery, and when George kissed her hand instead of shaking it, she later wiped it off with the corner of her skirt.
Was his moustache sweaty?
Or was his hand greasy?
Was his upper lip too oily?
Or was the whole incident just too cheesy?
Even though Aery was showing all these visible signs of being uncomfortable, these little microaggressions could not stop him from being delusional. George personally believed Aery had married Jay only because she had never met George before. A few days later, George asked Aery out nicely, and Aery slapped him out of his fantasy.
Been there, done that.
That was not the first time he was accused of being a creep or a freak for being honest enough to approach a woman like a regular human being. He later went back to using black magic rituals as his ultimate mating scheme, and after seven days in a row of ritual, he found himself lifting up Aery’s chin with his big toe while she was crawling naked on all fours on the floor, restrained by a leash in his hand. George called her “garbage slut” and shoved a dead fish into her vagina, and she moaned.
“Any tips and tricks to pull this baddie?”
There was an online forum where ritual people shared their own thoughts and experiences. George wrote a whole paragraph about how he used Aery’s menstrual blood to manifest her by ingesting it as part of his nutrition, but he never clarified how he got it from the garbage of Jay’s house. He just Googled if pads were carcinogenic or not when boiled in hot water to extract the blood. He specifically had to Google because ChatGPT was too confused to respond.
The weak point of the ritual was that the affection was only temporary, and Aery did not have long or heavy periods. After a week of being George’s personal pet, Aery no longer remembered what had happened, and both Aery and her husband Jay believed that Aery had gone to her friend’s house for a week after a big argument. Before Aery went back to the city for her work, they were both happy that they had made up. Aery gave Jay her favorite scrunchie, and he kept it on his wrist while gaming, as he believed this little scrunchie was helping him keep all his win streaks.
Every time people asked, he said, “Oh, it’s a ritual.”
He didn’t believe in rituals to begin with, but after his mom told him that she was commissioning a ritual for a grandbaby and his wife became pregnant shortly after, he started believing in them.
