Silent Writing Happy Hour is a social forum for writers to get writing. We gather every Tuesday  during the school year to read, write, and share our literary passions (aided, sometimes, by some lubricatory libations).

We are always interested in writers who wish to host one of our sessions.  The best way to discover how to do that is to come down to Pete’s Candy Store one of these Tuesdays at 5pm and learn the ropes.  Or, you can pose us a question below.

If you wish to submit writing, please see our SUBMIT! page. Note that we do not accept any writing done outside of SWHH.

If you want to learn more about what we do, see our About page.

Surely, he must have been good in bed. He must have been SPECTACULAR, really, if I was so willing to haul ass up to Yonkers to sleep with him. You would be mistaken.
Did you ever stand in the Military Expenditures room of the United Nations headquarters and see the minute-to-minute report of weapons expenses around the world?
For their crimes against language, he charged them four times the amount.
